Matt Corzine

President

Matt Corzine brings over 20 years of operations management experience to his role as President of GSA National. He is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in benefits technology, service delivery, and business development. As Vice President of Operations at GSA National, Matt has led the development of GSA’s proprietary fringe benefit accounting system while managing operations, leading service delivery, and providing compliance training. Before GSA National, Matt held leadership roles with AIM Healthcare’s Clearinghouse Division and Enliven. Matt is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and a member of the Professional Services Council.

Tom Kelly

Chief Strategy Officer

As Chief Strategy Officer of GSA National, Tom’s primary focus is client compliance strategies, marketing, business development, and client service. A nationally recognized expert on Service Contract Act and Davis Bacon Act compliance, Tom is often called upon by the nation’s leading contractors to discuss creative solutions to their unique challenges. With his extensive background in SCA, DBA, FAR, and ERISA, Tom has been helping contractors streamline costs, resolve compliance issues, and develop strategies since 1991.

Vanessa Quiñones

Executive Vice President of Client Development

Vanessa Quiñones serves as our Executive Vice President of Client Development, responsible for leading the Business Development as well as the Implementation/Renewal teams. Vanessa joined GSA National in 2002, and brings extensive benefits administration experience including new client implementations, annual renewals, benefit coverage procurement, cost projections/analysis, and customer service. Vanessa serves as the primary point of contact for client management and carriers, and is responsible for resolving all business-level issues. Vanessa is bilingual (English & Spanish) and is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plan and the Professional Services Council.

Matt Rose

Chief Financial Officer

Matt Rose is the Chief Financial Officer at GSA National with over 16 years of accounting and audit experience. He is responsible for financial reporting, financial planning, profitability, budgeting, cash flow management, risk management, internal controls, DOL and IRS filing assistance, compliance audits, client Trust services, treasury services, procurement, and other strategic initiatives. Before GSA National, Matt worked in the public accounting sector as an auditor of employee benefit plans, government contractors, and real estate firms while at Aronson LLC. Additionally, Matt was an accounting and audit supervisor at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board in Washington, DC. Matt is a West Virginia University graduate, Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Information System Auditor.

Lauren Fischer

Lead Counsel

Lauren Fischer serves as GSA’s inhouse counsel. Lauren has more than 10 years of ERISA/employee benefits experience, much of which has focused on benefits-related compliance and regulatory matters, including the SCA and DBA. Prior to joining GSA, Lauren was Staff Counsel at Locke Lord, LLP in the ERISA/Employee Benefits practice, served as Managing Director of a benefits administration software business working with Third-Party Administrators and Insurance Brokers to ensure the software’s ongoing compliance with COBRA, Section 125 plans, and other regulatory compliance requirements. She also worked at NFP, Inc. as Vice President, Benefits Compliance. Lauren has a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

Casey Byrnes

Controller

AS GSA National’s Controller, Casey oversees the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Audit teams within the Finance department. Her duties include financial reporting, client Trust management, process improvement initiatives, carrier and client relationship management, Trust cash flow management, internal controls procedures and profitability analysis. Casey is the main point of contact for day-to-day carrier bill payment and client invoice processing. Prior to joining GSA National, Casey gained financial management and accounting experience in the wholesale, importing and distribution, and public accounting sectors. Casey has a BBA in Accounting from Georgia Southern University, is a notary public, and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

Jean Chiang

Director of Operations

As GSA National’s Director of Operations, Jean leads her team in managing clients in Benefit Administration as well as SCA Compliance. Jean has over 10 years of experience at GSA National, with a breadth of knowledge from her former positions as a Benefits Analyst and Customer Service Representative. Jean also oversees the Benefits Administration, Benefits Analyst, and Software Development Teams, and is responsible for complex benefit administration and fringe benefit compliance for clients, ensuring compliance, quality and quantity standards are met.

Christina DeAcetis

Director of Operations

Christina DeAcetis has an extensive background in Human Resources, Benefits, HRIS Systems/Reporting and SCA Compliance. In her role as Director of Operations, she leads her team in managing clients in Benefit Administration as well as SCA Compliance. As a Benefit Information Manager and Specialist, Christina is an internal trainer on processing and systems, implementation for current and new clients, and continued client support.
