The Importance of SCA & DBA Compliance and Recent DOL Violations

Recent years have seen a marked rise in Department of Labor (DOL) wage and hour investigations. With those efforts continuing, now is an important time to review your company’s Service Contract Act (SCA) and Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) compliance.
Recently, wage and hour investigators found a California-based subcontractor and its Hawaii-based subcontractor failed to pay proper prevailing wages and overtime to 48 electricians.
